This is the first shot I took with my new camera I was really happy with. This is my bedside lamp.
I love the soft glow from the lamp. Truthfully, I hadn't even changed much in the way of ISO or aperture yet. Just adjusted the white balance and of course shot in manual focus. Not bad right?

love the bokeh in your masthead! and congrats on the new cam! nikon is the best and figuring out stuff with a cam like that is so fun bc there is SO much to tinker with. im still a total novice when it comes to my cam and rarely shoot out of auto but it's so much better knowing you have almost complete control over the camera by messing with the settings. great work, lady!
